On Tuesday 21st March, TLC Year 11 students held a Fun Run and Mini Marathon fundraising event in support of #RedNoseDay 2017.

The day was packed with excitement and a fundraising spirit! Primary students were encouraged and cheered on by fellow students, teachers and parents as they raced to accumulate laps and fundraise! Later in the day, TLC Secondary students & teachers gathered at the start line to commence the mini marathon near the beautiful Akamas. The runners set off and headed for TLC Private School to complete the marathon.

All fundraising participants successfully cross the finish line. Year 1 students contributed to the fundraising by participating in a ‘find the Red Nose’ art activity on the 22nd March.

TLC Private School is proud to announce a total of €1,500.00 was raised and donated to Comic Relief.

It’s all about the power to make the world a better place, simply by having a great time! “We thoroughly enjoyed getting involved with Red Nose Day this year. The entire school was tremendously enthusiastic and had a wonderful day fundraising! A very well done to our Year 11 students, we are extremely proud of you. A huge thanks to Angela Williams-Hammond for your hard work and support in organising this event with your students. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank parents, family and friends who supported this event. Last but not least, many thanks to Phoenix Ambulance Service and Peyia Police for attending and ensuring the safety of our students”.
