Business / Economics Teacher

We are seeking a full time qualified business studies/economics teacher required for September. The successful candidate  is required to teach both business studies and economics to IGCSE and A level standard.

Administrator / PA

The Learning Centre (TLC) Peyia Ltd operates TLC Private School. The school recently announced the acquisition of new premises in Peyia, to open fully in September 2019. We now seek to make a permanent appointment of a part time administrator to assist us in the next stage of the school’s development.

The successful applicant will assist the Directors in a number of administrative tasks. Initially the post will be a part time position but will increase to a full time position by September 2019.

The successful applicant will be based in a modern, equipped office at the new company headquarters in Agios Georgios, Peyia.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an administrative position is essential
  • Fluent and articulate in both spoken Greek and English is essential
  • Able to read, write and word-process both Greek and English is essential
  • Translation skills: Greek to English and English to Greek
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Cooperative and willing to be flexible on working hours
  • Computer skills: Good knowledge of MS Office and the necessary keyboard skills to produce documents and letter in both English and Greek
  • Telephone skills: An excellent manner in both Greek and English

Role Profile and Personal Attributes:

No previous experience of a school environment is necessary. If you have the skills and positive attitude, we will give you the knowledge and understanding of our company and school operations.

There will be an induction programme plus on-going training and support.

  2. Teachers with degrees gained from universities outside Cyprus or Greece will be required to have their qualifications approved through a process involving submission to KYSATS (the regulating body for academic awards).
